Adwenpahene: Germany-Based Blogger dies, Leaves Behind Wife And 5 Kids
Adwenpahene, a controversial Ghanaian blogger based in Germany, has reportedly passed away, sparking reactions across the internet. it is believed the blogger has ungdergone surgery few days ago in Germany but couldn't survive after experirencing bleeding in his head.
The news broke on April 4, 2025, with another Germany-based Ghanaian blogger, Nana Prempeh, of Bigscout Media, confirming the news of Adwenpahene’s death. Prempeh, who had been a close friend of Adwenpahene in the past but had a falling out several years ago, posted a heartfelt message on his Facebook account. In his post, Prempeh expressed deep sorrow at the loss of his former friend, despite their differences. He shared photos of their moments together over the years and conveyed his respect for the decade-long friendship they had.
Adwenpahene, known for his controversial and often provocative style of blogging, had made a name for himself in Ghana and the diaspora community in Germany. He often delved into sensitive topics within the Ghanaian community, earning him supporters and critics. His constant criticism of high-profile issues and individuals, including some chiefs of
the Ashanti Kingdom regarding the issue of Afua Pokua, an Ajaguraja that made him famous.
Adwenepahenehene is known to have attacked Ajaguraja (a popular spiritual man in Ghana) on several occasions. In a video circulating on social media, the spiritual man could be seen slaughtering a sheep to place a curse on Adwenepahene. It is believed that two years after the said incident, Adwenepahene was seen at a cemetery making a mockery of the spiritual man, after two years of cursing him, he is still alive which confirms that everything Adwenepa said about Ajaguja was true.
Adwenepa left behind a wife and five kids who are all based in Germany.
